It’s Thanksgiving, but

I’m thankful for my husband, but not thrilled that he is working today.

I’m thankful for my sister, but she is in New York.

I’m thankful for my son, but molars can suck it.

I’m thankful for my in-laws, but I opted out. this year.

I’m thankful for my internet friends, but you guys all live too far away to hang out with me.

Thanksgiving can suck it, but at least there is PIE.

Edited to add: I woke up on a significantly less cranky side of the bed than the one I went to sleep on. I’m thankful that my family is healthy. I thankful that my husband has a job, even though I hate it sometimes, it allows me to stay home with Spencer. There were losses in my family this year and I am very thankful for the family I have left. Thanksgiving is a holiday wrought with pressure and expectation for me and this year, I am just not up to dealing with it. Thank you all for hanging out with me in my little corner of the internet. mwah!

I’m so sorry you’re having a hard day – enjoy your pie! Put some extra whipped cream on there :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I woke up much less cranky than when I scheduled this to publish the night before. Thanks for enduring my pity party.
