p365 Outtakes Day 15-21

Day 15: I felt like this worked better as a set. I have yet to capture the perfect slide feet picture.

Day 16: I liked this rose picture, but not quite as much as the palm trees I used.

Day 17: This day was fun, but no great pictures, some kind of generic park pictures and a ton of cooking pictures. I decided there is almost no way to make raw chicken attractive, so I will spare you.

Day 18: There was another picture I loved, but it violated the no-spencer-face rule, so I might use it for wordless wednesday this week.

Day 19: We took a trip to Santa Barbara which always makes for fun photo ops. Thursday’s post had a bunch of pictures, so I won’t rehash them here, but I loved this one from the car.

Day 20: I was not in a picture taking mood this day. I snapped a few pictures of Spencer having his morning snack. I ended up using the one with the flash because I liked the warm vintage feel. This one seemed a little cold.

Day 21: I am obsessed with taking shadow pictures; I think it is because we walk to the park in bright sun in the morning. I did decide that I wasn’t going to post anymore unless they were just right. These I liked, but wasn’t thrilled with.

I also had a little adventure in self-portraiture. I dyed my hair and was trying to take a picture for Natalie. Then I made a me-collage which makes me laugh so I am sharing it here.

If you are doing a project365, we’d love to see your outtakes. Just one even. Link up and join the fun.

I love that my request for new hair photos resulted in the awesome collage of Amy. It made my day (or middle-of-the-night).

Um, shadow pictures? Only second to kids in converse pictures. (I have one in my outtakes too).

Love the slide pictures. LOVE. They should be a series in a flip book: “Spencer Slides!”

And I hold out hope that ONE day w/in the 365 we will start a Saturday Outtake revolution!

I think we are the only two people not overwhelmed by p365 and willing to make and extra post. Which actually makes it p469, if we do it every week. BUT, we both already took pictures everyday. So, there is that.

Well, it’s an easy post for me, b/c I take so many pictures anyway. Plus: Weekend posts are not for the cerebral stuff, right?

I LOVE the collage of Amy pictures. Any one of those could be a great twitter avatar.

And now I am going to go cry frozen tears because you can walk your kid to a park in the sunshine and the current temperature here is 4. FOUR.

Below freezing temperatures and ice covered parks…the east coast blows sometimes.

Aren’t icy slides just faster and more fun?

Does that mean that the queen of everything is giving me permission to change my twitter avatar? Would you like to pick which one? Also, you will be happy to know that today we had to wear long-sleeves to the park. Brrr.

Thank you! The hair color wasn’t really what I was going for, but it is a change and that will do.
