Goats! TJs! Crappy Drivers!

I am so happy to see Crunchy VT Mommy back up and running! I love Veronica and am so happy to have her back in my reader. Also, this is excellent timing because a few things got my goat this week and this means her post is back. Yay!

1. Trader Joe’s, I just can’t quit you. Your store brand items can be weird, you are always out of stock and you discontinued my husband’s beloved orange bergamot green tea, but I still go. I buy your joe joe’s and your cheap string cheese and your insanely low priced butter. I am a delightful and courteous eco-warrior and bring my own bags. I understand that using your customers as free bagging labor is part of your charm. But. BUT. I am not pleased when your cashiers stand there and watch me bag. I am doubly not pleased when your cashier stands there holding my receipt and watches me put the heavy bags that I bagged in to my cart. Annoyed.

2. This is driving me insane (pun intended) – when 2 left turning lanes turn on to a street with 3 lanes, the inside turning lane gets the far left lane. You do not get the option of choosing. That is not how it works. Obey your lane, dipshit.

3. Lastly, I am looking at you Bravo. I was so looking forward to the premiere of Real Housewives of New York, my favorite of all of the Housewife franchise. Delayed due to edtiitng? Blech. That makes it sound like it is boring. No amount of editing can fix the boring. Maybe Miami will turn out to be good.

Daddy *loves* TJs, but Mommy is mad because they discontinued the chocolate tea that was her FAVORITE. they have yummy mango sticky rice dessert, though, and that kind of makes up for it… The cashiers at our TJs ALWAYS help bag!

Seriously, what is with #2? Were some driver’s ed manuals missing those pages? Because that happens all the time at a certain intersection here in town.

Actually, come to think of it, the intersection that it happens at? Has two turning lanes into 2 lanes. THERE IS NO OPTION. Stay in your damn lane.

Trader Joe is my main man as well! I had the best and strangest experience there a while back. The cashier was talking to me and I’m a talker. During the course of her ringing up my purchases and bagging them. (They always bag them here, what’s that about?) She gave me(free of charge) a pumpkin, a bouquet of flowers, five candy bars and about 7 of those shopping bags. I turned down a balloon at the end. My husband swore I should have kept going, the next thing could have been a car! lol

I am all for bagging to help out but when I have a baby in a cart that is about to catapult is way out of it, I need help!!!!
Also I don’t know if you guys have this problem at your TJ’s but we have soliciters at the doors ALL THE TIME! I hate it! I hate to say no and feel bad but I just want to shop, not save the dolphins.

Most of our solicitors are on the weekends and I stopped going to TJs on the weekends unless it is an emergency. My favorite time to go it 830am Tues-Thurs.

Youre the best internet friend ever because you always give up the goat love. Also whats up with those miami housewives? They couldnt find ONE woman of color? Some of them better be Spanish because I know Miami well and the commercials do not seem to reflect the demographic but we’ll see.
