Shapes in Everyday Places

Spencer’s obsession with letters and numbers has led to a fascination with shapes. He doesn’t really differentiate between a circle and an O, he uses them interchangeably. At the park, sometimes it is Xs and Os, sometimes it is circles and Xs. He also delights in identifying shapes in everyday objects, eagerly pointing to something and announcing triangle! I recorded the shapes he found on our trip to the park this morning.

Triangles

Circles

Xs and Squares

Spencer calls every person in a hooded sweatshirt and a baseball hat daddy. Which is awesome when we are in the front yard and the sleazebags are going to the special house down the street for morning fixings.
