Happy/Sad Volume 1

Right now, these are…

things that make me sad:

  1. People being assholes on the internet.
  2. Spencer’s 2 year molars are coming in and hurting him so much. And as an added bonus, they’re giving him crazy mood swings.
  3. I feel so overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff in our house that needs to be stored, sorted and purged it makes me cry at least once per day.
  4. Always talking about things, but never doing them.
  5. I have apparently lost the ability to make decisions.

and things that make me happy:

  1. Our impending vacation (and we found a housesitter – yay!)
  2. My sister and brother-in-law are probably coming to visit soon.
  3. My internet besties. You know who you are. I would not have made it through the last year without you. *mwah*
  4. Spencer started singing. A lot. And more than just the Jeopardy theme song. He attempted Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Barges and this tonal repeat song that is on a disc we play in the car.
  5. These two guys make me happy every single day:

Yay for Singing Spencer. Pretty soon he’ll be doing the dances along with the songs, and you’ll die from cute.

I’m sorry about all the things making you sad, but know I’m here to help you stalk & egg the internet assholes’ homes. (or at least give them the stink-eye for you)

I can’t wait for O to start singing and really dancing. The stuff he does now is ridiculously cute, but not really worthy of a name.

Are you trying to make big decisions? Because I can’t make a big decision for anything lately. I get SO ANXIOUS. Because I might MAKE THE WRONG ONE. And then THE WORLD WILL END. But that’s just me.

My uncle once told me, about a month before he died, that very few decisions are permanent, and so not to let them overwhelm you. I try to remember that when I find myself getting all spun around. Sometimes it helps.

Uh, so that’s my 2 cents.

Yay for housesitters and impending vacations!

I can’t even make little decisions; tried to buy a dvd player and there were so many options that it sent me in to a near panic attack.

OH! I know that, too. I have been wanting a new point and shoot camera since November. Please note, I’ve not purchased one. Because whenever I start looking at them I need a drink. I get THAT SPUN AROUND. Sometimes I think living in Communist Russia would have been easier. No choice! You get what is available.

It is a smidge slow, but I love my p&s: Canon PS SD1400 IS Digital Elph. The screen looks fantastic outdoors, the manual settings are ok. My last p&s was an Elph, my sister has one. It is all around a good family of cameras and they rarely go on sale so you probably won’t have price regret.
