Project 365 Days 92-98

April 2nd – April 8th

This is my 2010 Project 365 – one photo per day for a year. My goal is to show no faces and try to focus on challenging composition. Also? Point and shoot, baby. No f-stops here.

That’s not how you wear a hat! Confession time: I didn’t take this picture, hubs did, but it was too cute not to use.

Playing ball at the mission.

Spencer playing with my old camera.

Spencer flirting with some older girls (4 year olds!) on the other side of the park.

He brought a hammock back from his business trip. As a gift. For me. Obviously. (So that is my orignial tumblr caption, but it sounds much bitchier than I meant it. Sorry, hubs! I love it. I will work on my fear that spiders will drop on my face.)

Block time! And yet again, no shirt.

Sweeping is best done clad only in a diaper.

Woo! That’s my project365 photos for the week. I think the black & white one might be my favorite. Shhh. Don’t tell the others.

I love the b&w one. LOVE.

This post is further proof you don’t need a fancy camera to take amazing pictures. You are my case study. I love them all! *mwah*

Honestly, I think I want a DSLR so people stop saying that they are good for a point and shoot. I need a little telltale blur. (I don’t mean you/this comment).

hahaha! Well, then they will say “Of course you take awesome pictures, you have an AWESOME camera” (which is what I hear a lot.

You can’t freaking win. You are just a good photog. That is all.

That’s a great challenge. It would make a fantastic photo album to see the changes in a year. Thanks for dropping by for my special SITS day last week! All the comment love was greatly appreciated.

I love these pictures this week. The one at the Mission (should mission be capitalized? I feel like it should. Or maybe I only think that because of the movie?)? *swoon* And the black and white, and the hammock…and all of them.

    Amy Reply:

I totally debated whether or not to capitalize it. I decided since it didn’t have the exact name it was just a mission, like a church or a library. But I would capitalize Santa Barbara Mission for sure. No idea if that is correct or not.

And thanks! I liked this weeks pictures a lot.

That B&W is just beautiful! And I love your project idea! I did something like this for my family with my youngest son. They all live so far away I thought a picture a day would be so great for building their relationship.
