A Letter to My Mom

Dear Mom-

Happy Mother’s Day.

I wish you weren’t dead.

I wish you could meet Spencer.

I wish I hadn’t waited until you weren’t here to have him.

Then again, I also wish you had been nicer.

I wish I had been nicer.

Love,
Amy

No one realizes the finality of death until it happens.

You can’t undo missed phone calls.

You can’t mail a card to the afterlife.

So, if you still have your mom, call her today.

Even is she was mean the other day, even if you think she is a bitch.

Call. Your. Mother.

You will regret it later if you don’t.

Trust me.
