August in Review

August. Whoa. It most is a blur: BlogHer, sister visit, in-laws back from Chile, Spencer’s party, father-in-law back to Chile, preschool started. Ugh. Plus the worst. doctor. visit. ever. And I was sick, which almost never happens. It is a wonder I had any time for the internets at all. But, lucky you, I did. Here are some highlights: yours, mine and theirs.

My most popular post (per google analytics):

How to Make Sparkling Summer Lemonade

My favorite post on Baby Baby Lemon this month:

Blue Skies (On the Road)

Crafty posts from around the web:

If I could embroider, I would totally make this Ferris Wheel pattern. (via Be Different, Act Normal)

Suzanne’s new pinterest inspired living room makes me stabby jealous. (via Bebehblog)

A great post on how to make Photoshop run faster. (via Swiss-Miss)

Blog Posts I Read Elsewhere:

Loved this post titled if your internet is full of assholes, it’s your own fault. (via Schmutzie)

This is where I admit that I read years of archives of Finslippy while I was sick. Years. And the Awards Go To… had me laughing so hard I was crying and made my stomach hurt. And my stomach already hurt, so really I’m the loser in Amy vs. the Archives, but go check it out. (via Finslippy)

This month on Soup or Salad Blog. (You guys remember I have a food blog, right?):

Greek(ish) Potato Salad
Cucumber and Tomato Salad
Beet Salad

One of my favorite photos of the month:

This might be the picture that started my black & white phase.

I read that Finslippy post the first time but am delighted to reread it, so I can feel less bad about all my parenting shortfalls. At least I am not THAT BAD!!

Thanks for the link. If I win the lottery, I will come to your house and do your living room too.
