It is never to early to start thinking about holiday cards. I’m always inspired to buy them really early and end up sending them really late. I figure if it took the Wise Men until January 6th to get to the manger, it can take my card that long to get to people. Heh. We do a photo card and a photo album every year (since we had Spencer) and get the small ones to give out as gifts. There are also a bunch of awesome photo gifts or calendars to chose from. Love it. We are making memories here, people.
I use Shutterfly for our all of our photo cards and albums. I did a sponsored post last year and this one is sponsored as well, but we used them before I ever was compensated and will continue to do so. I love Shutterfly. The quality and turn around time are excellent.
Last year, we did a black and white card single photo card, mostly because nothing Spencer was wearing went together color-wise and black and white made it much less distracting. I’m thinking about color this year.
We normally do cards that are more winter than Christmas, but this one is hard to resist. I love the ornament motif.
I love the colors in this one, the green gives it fun punch of color with the blue.
I like the classic simplicity of this one:
But, if I end up doing black and white again, I am getting this card for sure:
It can be so hard to pick. Shutterfly has some amazing cards. I normally find the photo and try it out with my top card pictures. All of these are single photo cards. Spencer’s first year we sent out a multiple photo card, but did a single shot last year. I think multiple photos might be better suited for families with more than one child. What do you think?

Disclosure: I was compensated for this post, but all opinions are my own and I really love Shutterfly.
I was thinking about doing Thanskgiving cards this year – or New Years cards…I made Holiday cards last year, and wasn’t in love with them. We did Shutterfly cards the year before. MUCH CUTER. Mostly because they were a picture of my kid. And he’s pretty much always cute. Sigh…I guess I better start thinking about this, no?
I’ve never considered sending out holiday cards but I think well be sending out that last one this year.
This could be the first year I actaully get holiday cards out since I had a baby! I dont think 2 years off is that bad…right?!?!?!?
We totally skipped holiday cards the last two years, but are definitely doing them this year! I better start taking pictures…
I love sending out Christmas cards! And Shutterfly always has such great stuff!
I love the Holly Jolly card….that would be my #1 choice! Thanks for the link, I signed up.
Love sending out cards every year! My fab card is the holiday sketch! ;)
we have never sent photo cards before for Hanukkah, but since i have recently found shutterfly we are definatly going to send some this yr. i love the classic blue star of david card.
great card designs
Ohhh yeah… I always use Shutterfly… for everything. They are my go to!
I love Shutterfly! We use them every year for picture calendars for our parents, and photo albums for us!
We always send out a cheesy card with a family pic including the dog. Hubby is convinced we have our pic this year, but the dog isn’t in it, and I feel bad for her. And I’m crazy, because I’m sure she doesn’t give a shit. Why do I worry about these things?
oh i LOVE shutterfly!! i’ve had great luck developing my photos through them, and was thinking of going through them for my holiday cards this year. some freebies would be such a treat! (: XO!
I would love some Shutterfly cards! :)
I WANT!! shutterfly makes me happy.
I suppose I should start thinking about this instead of hoping that one of these years my husband will do it like he says he will. :D
We will be attempting to get a decent shot of everyone looking in the same direction this weekend for the annual holiday card. Just used Shutterfly for my daughter’s first birthday invites and they turned out very cute.
