Getting Preppy with #MyHartstrings!

I am a notorious cheapskate when it comes to Spencer’s clothes. All of his nice stuff has almost all been gifts and I have supplied him with a steady supply of inexpensive t-shirts and jeans. I’m super excited that I was given the opportunity to experience Hartstrings firsthand.

A package? For me?

I love Hartstrings. The prices, while on the higher end for kids clothes, really do reflect the quality and style of the clothes themselves. And the classic, preppy vibe means these will be treasured hand-med-owns that should easily last through several children’s use.

SALE! Just what I like to see

The website is super easy to navigate – there are categories for boys, girls and infants, plus the ability to sort by sale. My favorite part is the ability to exclude by size within the Sale category, no more clicking through on a cute item only to see the desired size is no longer available. My only caveat: act quickly on the sales. I had two things disappear from my cart while I thought about them overnight (they were so cute! why did I think? WHY?) and then I had an item cancelled after my order due to lower than expected inventory. Don’t ponder too long, just buy all the things.

Spencer is a fan of his new shirt:

Not a cooperative model

Bubbles were more fun than modeling.

Way more fun!

Spencer went into full scale toddler rebellion mode when I tried to get him to try on the shorts as it was particularly cold in Southern California for the last few days. But they are super cute and the jersey is a very heavy weight. These will be perfect for summer and fall.

If you want to see more from Hartstrings (the boy line is now called Kitestrings) check out their website or I’ve pinned some selections here. Hartstrings can be found on twitter and facebook. To see more from this campaign, check out the #MyHartstrings hashtag.

This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias. #CBias. All opinions are my own. Well, and Spencer’s, and he liked his clothes a whole bunch.

I love those shorts you chose! The cargo shorts look so cute on little boys. :-)
