BlogHer Photo-A-Day Recap

I tried to keep up with bebehblog’s photo-a-day challenge for BlogHer, but it was really hard. I decided to just take a scavenger hunt approach from the photos I did take. I didn’t really have a glitter photo (at least one fit for public consumption) or a shoes photo. I threw Martha in the shoe spot because her super high orange shoes were memorable for sure.

Luggage / Sky / View / Where you sleep

NYC / Jewelry / Reflection / Drink

Person you admire* / Taxi / Food / Glitter

Brand / Shoes / Hat / Swag

*Lisa Stone and Katie Couric are both people I admire.

I know! But it was still more time than last year, so that’s an improvement.

I love the idea of a photo scavenger hunt. It’s better than photo-a-day because you don’t have to freak out about taking a new picture, you just find a picture you’ve already taken that fits the theme.

It was fun to pick from the photos I had. I wish I had intended to do that. I would have taken a ton of cabs and mirrors and things and decided later. This was just a way to play along because I think I only had one or two from the right days at all.

That right there? You took more photos than me. I super bloggy fail.

And yet somehow I managed to not take a picture of YOU. That’s the real fail.
