Wordless Wednesday: Rocket Park

Spencer has a new favorite park and even though it is out of town and a bit of a drive for us, we’ve been twice in two weeks. I love the old school equipment and gorgeous setting; Spencer loves that in one of the swings he can literally touch the trees. Plus, it abuts a riding path so there are bonus horsey sightings.

  5. So cool! I miss older parks like that. We had such cool park toys before helicopter parents ruined it for the rest of us.

Those rocket ships were removed a long time ago by local councils as they became a choke hazard, which was really sad… There is only a couple remaining, but haven’t seen one in a while!! Thanks for rekindling some childhood memories…

Mines up as well at AussiePomm – Its (nearly) Spring!!

    Have a great WW!!
