50 Books in 2013
My goal is to read and document 50 books in 2013. I’m pretty sure I read 40 in 2012, so this might not be a huge challange. I think I’ll post a permanent sidebar link to this post and keep it updated. Not quite sure what I want to record. Title, Author, Date finished, but then what else? I think maybe whether it was an ebook or hard copy and maybe the recommendation source if known. I’ll attach and amazon (affiliate) link to the author’s name and a blog review (when applicable) to the book title.

- What the Plus!, Guy Kawasaki, finished 5/6/13, 208 pages.
I decided to go with books I finished in 2013 rather than books I started and finished in 2013. This will apply on the other end, too. I will not count books started but not finished in 2013.

Awesome goal! I tried for it in 2009 & 2010. 42 was the closest I got. No specific goal this year or last year but do love keeping up with & hearing about what you’ve enjoyed. BHBC keeps me on my toes pushing me to read new/different books too. I love that.

I think I maybe read 5 books Spencer’s first year. I would have read maybe a few more with a kindle, maybe. I admire the fact you are getting any reading done with the twins at all! I love BlogHer Bookclub, found so many cool books I never would have read through the program.
I had a 50 books goal last year and surpassed it by about 15 books. Lol! I’ve set it to 52 books for this year, which I’m tracking on GoodReads, since I’ll have the newborn keeping me exhausted. Who knows if I’ll be able to read them this year.

I am trying good reads out again for this, too. I just wanted a spot on the blog to link all of the reviews. I would also like to try and enter every book I can remember reading into good reads to see if I can ever met the lifetime goal of 5,000 books I set when I was 10.
I read a ton in 2012 – until I had a baby!
Wow. Now I see how bad my addiction is. I read 20 books so far this January alone. Roughly 6,000 pages. Always looking for good books. Feel free to put yay or nay by the titles and I will use your amazon links to buy books for my kindle.

I haven’t been ranking them because I don’t really have a system. Normally I use a worth a purchase, worth a borrow sort of system when I recommend things one on one.
