Wedding Invitations from Minted
GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
I only have a few wedding regrets, well, maybe just one ::cough photographer cough:: and I loved our wedding invitations., I still do. Navy ink on crisp white paper, with raised dots around the border, super simple and clean. That was sort of our wedding theme. Simple.
Of course, then I saw the wedding invitations from Minted. I mean look at them:
After looking at Minted’s amazing selection of invitations, I think either my taste’s have changed or it is a matter of invitations simply not being this cool back in the day. Because this one is certainly not simple, but I love it:
What I think is so interesting about Minted as a company is that it is a community of independent designers based worldwide that come together under one storefront. The result is enough varied designs to please every taste. Plus, shopping at Minted supports independent designers who might otherwise have a hard time getting their designs to market. They also hold monthly design challenges.
Minted has inspiration boards that are so, so pretty. Looking at them is like getting lost in a tightly curated pinterest.

Maybe I DO have wedding regrets. Our 10 year anniversary is in 2014, maybe I should planning a vow renewal now. I know where I will get the invites. Maybe this one, it’s totally simple.
Oh and hey guess what! Minted generously offered a giveaway for a lucky reader to win $50 Minted credit towards their next order. To enter, just leave a comment on this post. How about your favorite thing about your wedding? And if you aren’t married, what is something you think is your wedding must have? And if you have no plans of ever, ever getting married and think these giveaway entry comment suggestions are dumb, just leave a comment about anything: booze, cake, cats, whatever.
Giveaway ends Friday, March 22nd at midnight (pacific). Winner will be notified via email. Giveaway open worldwide.
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. I received store credit in exchange for writing about wedding invitations; however, I do not plan on spending it on wedding invitations. I think I’ll keep my husband around and get business cards instead. Very practical of me. Plus, I like him.
UPDATE: The winner of the giveaway is comment #9 – Wendy!

this May my husband and I will be celebrating 30 years of marriage :)
Our reception! Great restaurant on the beach. Love Minted!
My favorite thing about my wedding? OMG so many things. I LOVED my dress. LOVED the photographer… My invites were a little fussy, Minted’s would have been SO much better!
I loved my wedding invitations. Loved them. And we splurged and got a band, which, although a terribly old fashioned thing to do, made it a super party.
We had a fun wedding. :)
I would LOVE to use Minted for a few things- my daughter has a birthday party coming up and it would be fun to have unique invitations for that. I also dream of having a 10-year anniversary vow renewal- such a fun idea. I loved my wedding invitations, but they were pretty “of the moment.”
My husband and I eloped, had a civil ceremony in a courthouse downtown on Leap Day, which means we only really celebrate every four years or so. :) My favorite thing about it, other than BEING MARRIED, was our honeymoon. We went down state to help friends of ours vet movies for a bad movie festival they put on. We rented a hotel room, which we almost never do, and got to see a lot of friends we hadn’t seen in a long time, and got to watch a lot of terrible movies and take part in planning a big event. It was very us.
My favorite thing about my wedding was getting married in Kauai surrounded by my closest friends.
Our wedding was okay. My invitations weren’t anywhere near as like as these from Minted. Great stuff!
I loved our cake. It looked beautiful and tasted good too!
My favorite thing about my wedding was….the groom! :) {And my dress, and my cake and the old wedding photos of our grandparents at the entrance of the reception.}
Loved my father in law’s toast. it was a tear-jerker.
My husband and I have been married for 22 years. We eloped the first time around, and I really want to do a fabulous vow renewal for our 25th! Maybe it’s time to start planning now!
My favorite thing about our wedding was probably the flowers. That whole getting married part was pretty awesome, too, though.
my favorite thing was my cake… it was perfect. homemade by my sweet HS spanish teacher – decorated with real flowers. the best part — carrot cake & cream cheese frosting!! :)
I definitely loved my dress – still do.
I also loved how the sun started to set at just the right moment. (We were married outside in a garden.)
And I also kinda loved the groom. Just a little though.
when i find a dude who will let me use the ollie the octopus cards as wedding invite templates, i think that’s when i’ll know i’ve found a keeper.
I would get programs for my wedding coming up.
I’m not married, but I definitely look forward to picking out a dress! I already know basically what i want it to look like (not that my wedding will be anywhere in the near future!). I’m also excited to design a gorgeous cake!
I would use it for programs or thank yous!
