Martha is a bargain!

I’m not one to normally post sales or deals and I am way too lazy to be any sort of frugal living blogger (those people work hard), but I couldn’t resist passing this one along. Martha Stewart’s cookbook Martha’s American Food is on sale for only $12.99 with any other purchase at Barnes & Noble. The offer is available online and in stores.

Since the advent of the internet, epicurious and pinterest I have pretty much stopped buying cookbooks. Also the glut of food network propoganda has diluted the market a bit, but Martha’s are always quality. This book came out in 2012, but I never picked it up. I was in Barnes & Noble to buy a magazine and saw the signs and ended up getting the cookbook and the magazine for only $14 with my member discount.

I’ve flipped through it and so far, I love the look of it. I’ve always been tempted to cook an entire cookbook, but doubt my follow through. This would be a contender for the project if I were to take one on. This would make a great Mother’s Day present too!

There are no affilate links or anything in this post, I just like Martha and a good deal.

Do you read Smitten Kitchen? Her cook book is great, too. Like you, I’ve way cut back on being interested in cookbooks (especially since two cookbooks I’ve bought from people/groups known for accurate/good cooking were big huge duds) but hers is fantastic.

I don’t have her cookbook, but I frequently check out her blog. Thanks for the suggestion!
