Paralyzed by Free Time

Spencer started school last week! I would love to be one of those people sniffling about how I can’t believe my baby is so big, but I have an actual baby to worry about. Also, he has been out of preschool since March; his endless summer couldn’t have come to an end soon enough.

But now that he is in school I don’t know what to do with myself. I have all these grand plans – write a novel, clean my house, blog all the blogs, but instead I eat popsicles and mess around on the internet while binge watching Pretty Little Liars.

I have no motivation and no time management skills. Case in point, I wrote the first paragraph of this blog post and thought “hey, I should put a party gif in here. Maybe pinkie pie” because I have watched way too much My Little Pony lately. So I went googling for one and then spent 20 minutes down a MLPwiki wormhole because I know nothing about it. Did you know the creator of this version of my little pony was married the the guy who did power puff girls? THIS EXPLAINS SO MUCH.

I need to clean my floors.

I don’t even know my point any more. Spencer started school, woo! Truman is taking up a lot of my free time, but cruising around the house on his belly, unfortunately obsessed with doormats, shoes and paper bags.

Thoughts! Things! I wrote this because I made an editorial calendar for my blog (lolz) and it says words on mondays.

Oh! This week it will be different. Oh hey look at that, all the Top Chef Duels calling my from my DVR.
