Boden Activewear Yay!

My original title for this post was “Boden Activewear – not just for the young and skinny,” but it seemed sort of mean and I didn’t want to implicate Boden in what is clearly my mental hangup. I love Boden. I think their clothes hold up well, wash great and the kids love them. The key word in that last sentence is kids. I’ve actually only owned miniBoden. When their rep contacted me (sponosred post alert!) about trying out their new activewear/yoga line I was excited. But…

Would they fit? That’s the question. The email noted that size range was 2-14. I am a 14, most of the time. Sometimes 16, rarely a 12. I have one pair of pants that’s an 18 but that’s because I hate jeans that are too tight. I emailed back and said I would love to try them, but I didn’t know if they would fit because I was right at the top of the size range. And then I waited.

My new bff the Boden PR rep emailed back and said they run wide but not long and are super stretchy so would probably work.

Now I just had to wait for the package to arrive,

And then the package came.

And it fit

All of it fit

I have been wearing them constantly. The tank and pants fit great and the jacket is a little tight in the sleeves, but I have giant ham hock arms. I’ve had to size up 2 sizes to get fitted sleeves in a blazer to fit and that was long before I had baby weight to lose.

Right now, the line comes in navy, red and black. The navy pieces I received have a coordinated pattern with just enough on each piece so you don’t feel overwhelmed with print or too matchy matchy. It’s too cold right now, but I can see the tank and jacket combo becoming a walk to the bus stop stable when the warm weather comes back in the Spring.

The activewear pieces from Boden are a nice and thick quality fabric and are super comfy. Right now, the whole #bodenonthego line can be ordered with free shipping and returns so if you concerned about fit, don’t be scared to order. Also, I just noticed online that most of the pieces go up to 18! That’s awesome.

Boden Yoga Clothes

I know it’s hard to try new things when you are a borderline size. I tend to stick with the brands I know run large or will fit for sure, especially when ordering online, but give Boden a try.

I also would like to mention my appreciation for Boden and that they didn’t back out of sending samples to someone at the higher end of the sizing. My photos aren’t an amazing size 2 yoga shoot. I did take some, but I mostly work out at home and they are sort of boring.  I went to retake them today and it started drizzling and gave up. #realtalk

The clothes are fantastic. I just don’t feel that comfortable out and about in them. I am more of a huge shirt and baggy sweats sort of work out person. My hope is that this will serve as some sort of before photo and get me off my butt and motivated to lose the weight. Then, in the Spring, I can buy myself a whole new set of Boden activewear in a smaller size and show it off.

  2. mi se pare mai plauzibila ideea ca au folosit toti aceeasi sursa de informare, de aici si confuzia creata . produsul e descris destul de explicit atat pe siteul microsoft cat in alte locatii.

  3. Hi, Martin,Yes, I’ve read your Pichon Taste-Off report already and will definitely read the one on your Ruinart Vertical. Wow, a ’79 Rosé Magnum. How lucky you are to get to try that!Best,N

  4. xbox720 would be “impressive” if they not based it on a mid/low range videocard, instead something that is not even out yet, and 3 times faster then the current king of the PC market the 7970. Than I would say impressive. Of course than it would be 60 times faster, and who wants that, right???

  5. I’m not certain the place you’re getting your information, however good topic. I needs to spend some time finding out more or understanding more. ThanksVA:F [1.9.17_1161]please wait…

  6. “Plus on fait d’Europe, moins il y a de croissance. ”Ah la vielle lune des anti-européens!La diminution du taux de croissance (par tête de pipe) n’a strictement rien d’européen, elle est générale à tous les pays développés, ça n’a rien de magique ni de très difficile à comprendre que plus un pays est développé moins il aura de possibilités de croissance.boudiou ça fait quinze ans que le Japon ne croît plus, mais c’est sûr, pour BA comme tous les anti-européen, c’est de la faute de l’Europe.Â

  7. >>I would have thought that the boundary between Greece and Anatolia has most often been artificialAnatolia is a very vast region. In the course of history the Greek world was far more connected to Western Anatolia rather than with central and especially eastern Anatolia. I suspect that Western Anatolians were and are genetically and culturally much more similar to the people in what is today Greece than are eastern Anatolians. So when comparing modern Turks and Greeks genetically keep in mind that Turks descend of ALL Anatolians and not just Greeks/Romioi.
