Hey there.

I’m Amy, a mom in Southern California.  I have a toddler, Spencer, born in 2009 . This is a space where I write about the joys and struggles of being a mom. I am a formerly breastfeeding, mostly cloth-diapering, formerly baby-wearing mama. I like to think of myself as light-green or vaguely crunchy because I may bring my own bag, cloth diaper, home garden and compost, but I will never be able to give up paper towels. I love converse, gin and sitting in the shade on sunny days. I like photograph and easy crafts. I dislike waiting for glue or paint to dry. I hate surprises. Unless it’s a milkshake.

This is my place to talk about what is on my mind, one day it might be a mini-milestone then next it might be a rant about litterbugs. I also have a food blog, Soup Or Salad Blog. I am PR friendly, but very selective. Welcome, grab a latte, curl up with your ipad and stay awhile.
