First (full) Day of School

Thursday, August 29th, 2013

Back to school could have gone better. The orientation half-day was fine, but today was sort of a mess. Needless to say, I am now a giant stress-ball and panicking about the rest of the year.

Without going in to too much detail, does anyone have some tips on getting a preK kiddo’s body adjusted to pooping before school? He’s not a super early riser, which is part of the problem, but I don’t what to totally ruin his sleep by getting him up so early when he normally wakes at 8. (School starts at 9).

Photos to make the post more palatable!

In case anyone was wondering why the words on the blog seemed to have disappeared in the last few weeks. Well, there has been nothing going on but potty training and it hasn’t gone that well. But, he’s a little kiddo with little kiddo problems and I don’t feel like the minutiae needs to be documented. but I was left with not much to say…

Paper Spencer

Tuesday, August 27th, 2013

My sister is visiting and we had the roll of butcher paper our and she suggested making a paper Spencer. He thought it was the most fun ever. She just traced him laying on the paper and then cut him out. They both did a bit of the coloring. Spencer had a blast modeling his outfit and he chose the boots. It’s a fun little back to school project too. Now, I know exactly how big he is at the beginning of PreK.
